 When LeBron James created NBA history, one person stood out because they were missing their phone. It is unknown who this guy is. Do you recall a period of your life before the invention of cell phones when you were siblingless? Without using a camera or recording a video, how did you record memories? What was it like, too, to go to sporting events or concerts before social media? These are interesting questions to consider.

As I say this, I can’t help but laugh, but it’s true. People scrambled to capture the moment on their cameras as LeBron James accomplished something historic. It makes sense why; being able to preserve such a unique experience indefinitely is an alluring temptation. Unless, of course, you’re too laid back to give a damn about that type of thing.

It was Knight who brought LeBron James on board with the company over twenty years ago, and their business relationship has flourished ever since. Alongside Bill Bowerman, Knight founded the brand in 1964 while they were both still in college. Originally, it began as a distribution company, but now it is valued at almost $200 billion and has teamed up with athletes from all corners of the world.
